Christmas Wish List: Home Design Edition
Co-writer : Liliana Becerril
Often when it comes to making a Christmas wish list, it’s easy to think about things that are held or used selectively on a day-to-day basis. For example, a phone, electric air fryer, coffee mug, socks, and video games are all things that might come to mind. But what about a brand new floor? Or a new bathroom countertop? Do you find yourself shying away from these types of items on your wishlist? If so, you’ve come to the right article!
Wish list items are things that, for some, have significant value, and a brand-new floor is just as valuable for many reasons. A brand new floor is something you’ll have for a year or more, and that will sometimes even set the tone for your home. Has anyone at homemade any of the following comments:
Suppose you can relate to any of the comments above. In that case, it might be time to consider adding a new remodeling product to your Christmas wish list.
How can we help?
At Nueva Casa de Ceramica, it is our job to help you find your answers for how to go about picking the right floor. We’ve worked on some wishlist ideas to help you find the right products this Christmas or any time of the year!
Every year I ask myself, “what would I like for christmas?” Some of my past year's wishlist items included shoes, art supplies, headphones, makeup, and a ridiculously expensive hair dryer. This year, however, I’ve begun to wish for more “mature” items, such as a rice cooker, a clothing dryer stand, a new lunch bag, or meal prep containers. I even went as far as to wish for a new rug to match my duvet cover! In between this new thought trend, I realized that it’s always been a wish of mine to own a home that reflects my personality and, ultimately, is my own space. A space where I can relax, thrive in, and honor my family’s and my own hard work, a space to call my home. Below are just some of my home wishlist items I hope to incorporate into my dream home one day.
Herringbone oak wood flooring
There's something about the warm but neutral tone that Oak wood has that, when paired with the Herringbone/Chevron pattern, makes for the perfect combination of cozy but elegant! This wood floor style, in particular, has a beautiful natural variation, and its design creates a unique, one-of-a-kind look. Its brown tone also makes it perfect to pair with just about any color, making it amazing for the holiday decor season!
Red or Orange patio pavers
This Spanish style of pavers is bold but makes for the most beautiful display of color! In addition, it makes plants and other greenery stand out and complement each other!
Cozy Carpet Christmas
For households of one or more, carpet flooring brings maximum comfort when it’s time to take off shoes after a long day out. Where’s the Christmas tree being located this year? Will it be on a flat hard surface or a comfortable floor everyone can run to that morning to open up the presents? Plus, with the various color options, you can pick one that will suit you more than this holiday season.
Down through the Chimney!
Santa probably doesn’t do much judging for the chimney he goes down through, but if he did, what’s the rating for yours? If you want to change it up, some lovely stacked stone walls will do the trick! If there’s no Santa in your household, perhaps you’d like a nice touch to your indoor or outdoor fireplace. There are plenty more styles, but here are the ones to bring out the holiday cheer.
We hope our team’s picks for this holiday season may have helped in your selection process, but if not, we have more tips and stories for you to consider in our blog!
